Need to store, collect or transport batteries (lithium-ion or non-lithium)? These steel drums have a capacity of 62 litres, meet all legal requirements, and are UN-approved. Plus, fire-safety tests were done for use with lithium-ion batteries.

Unique features
In the design of these drums, we focused on safety. If an internal fire breaks out, the flame-arresting filter acts as an overpressure system. We also added an internal coating to prevent a short circuit when the battery comes into contact with the drum.
Our drums are UN-certified and in comply with ADR regulation (P908-P909).
However, during the design process, we also kept practicalities in mind. The drums can be stacked to make storage easier. Just make sure to never stack more than 3 drums on top of each other, and to add a pallet in between. The drums can be reused after they have been inspected.
Please note that all safety tests were carried out with lithium-ion batteries under specific conditions. We can’t give any safety guarantees for use with primary lithium batteries. Please contact us for more information.
